Typosters and POV Festival came together to curate a collection of posters, aligned with the festival's 2025 theme; Making Sense. Through an open call, designers were invited to design posters that explored Budapest, its culture, architecture and public spaces.

Open Call Announcement, POV Team

Budapest is a beautiful mess. Its layered character spans the full aesthetic spectrum; from stark brutalist structures to elegant bourgeois façades. It’s a city that resists simple definitions, constantly shifting between order and chaos, past and present. Designers were invited to explore and pay tribute to the city.

The 10 winning posters displayed a deep understanding of the city and its layers, history and culture.

What Typosters has to say about this collaboration

The result was a mix of visual styles and languages, all coming together beautifully to represent Budapest and its unique character. From architecture, to local design, the designers incorporated different elements into their posters, which were exhibited during the weekend on the festival at Dugattyús, a local venue.
